About Scottish Magician - Michael Breck |

Michael has a BSc in Social Sciences from the Open University, a Diploma in Dramatic Art from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, and a Diploma in Marketing from The Royal Chartered Institute of Marketing. He trained as an actor for three years at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama. His acting awards include The Royal Lyceum Award, The Duncan McCrae Memorial Award, and The Elaine Gullen Trophy. On leaving drama school, Michael worked with theatre companies in Scotland such as Borderline, Cumbernauld Theatre, AZ Theatre Company, and Fablevision. In between theatre jobs he acted in Schools' programmes for BBC Radio Scotland. He also worked as an Announcer for BBC Radio Scotland and made innumerable voice-overs for radio ads and corporate video presentations. His television acting credits include: Taggart, Kings Royal, Aliens, and Gunfight at Joe Kaye. However, Michael has been practicing Magic since the age of five and eventually his work as a Magical Entertainer began to take over from acting. His television credits as a Magician include: The Untied Shoelaces Show, Funhouse, Get Fresh, High Spirits, The Ice Cream Van, and Scotland Today. He has also acted as a Magical advisor for BBC and STV. Michael still does the occasional acting role or voice-over, but now prefers to concentrate on performing Magic and running his Entertainment Agency - The Magic Agency. |
